COVID Vaccine Update

COVID Vaccination programme information

We have now invited all patients from Cohorts 01-09 (50 years +, those with underlying health conditions, healthcare workers and houshold contacts of immunosuppressed patients)

Information for those under 50 without underlying health conditions)

This practice is only offering COVID-19 vaccinations to those patients in priority groups 1-9 who have not yet had their first dose or are awaiting a second dose. Please do not contact us about vaccinations unless you are in one of these groups. You can check your eligibility here

If you are in the priority groups 10 - 12 (patients aged 49 down to 18) you will need to book your appointment via the national NHS booking service when your age group becomes eligible.

This will allow you to find a suitable date and time at another site including the Kassam Stadium vaccination centre (or other large centre in a neighbouring county) and participating community pharmacies.

Proof of Vaccination via NHS app

If you are requesting proof of COVID vaccination please download the NHS app or read the guidance available here. From 17 May you will be able to call 119 to request proof of vaccination if you are unable to access the NHS app. We cannot provide letters showing your COVID-19 vaccination status.

Second Dose Information

The current guidance is that everybody should receive two doses, with a second dose given 8 weeks after the initial vaccination for those over 50 or at risk. We have now invited most patients back for a 2nd dose. The table below indicates dates for these invites:
