We have now invited all patients from Cohorts 01-09 (50 years + and those with underlying health conditions).

  9. All those 50 years of age an over.

Phase 2 of the vaccination programme is for patients under 50 years of age and not in any additional risk groups (Cohorts 10-12). This practice is only delivering vaccines to those in Phase 1.

If you are in the priority groups 10 - 12 (patients aged 49 down to 18) you will need to book your appointment via the national NHS booking service when your age group becomes eligible.

This will allow you to find a suitable date and time at another site including the Kassam Stadium vaccination centre (or other large centre in a neighbouring county) and a participating community pharmacy. Currently, people aged 45 – 49 can book their first dose on the system, together with people in groups 1 - 9.

Please do not contact the practice to request vaccination.

The current guidance is that everybody should receive two doses, with a second dose given towards the end of a 12 week period after the initial vaccination. We are now starting to invite patients for 2nd doses. You will receive an invite for a 2nd dose approximately 11 weeks after your 1st dose.

To speed up vaccinations being given, mass vaccination sites and some pharmacies are also offering the jab; these invitation letters are being managed nationally and not by the practice.

If you choose to book a vaccination at one of the mass vaccination centres or pharmacies you may need to travel further. If you prefer, you can wait to be contacted by the practice and have your vaccination organised at our Primary Care Network (PCN) Vaccination site at Jericho Health Centre. It is important to be aware that you will need to have your second dose at the same place where you had your first dose and this cannot be changed.

IMPORTANT: We are unable to vaccinate you if you have coronavirus symptoms (cough, fever, loss of sense of taste or smell) or have tested positive in the last 4 weeks OR are currently in a COVID Vaccine Trial and have not been unblinded. If you have an appointment please cancel this.

*If you are eligible as a frontline health or social care worker, please email to advise us in order that we can include you when we have appointments.   You will be required to provide proof of your current employment.
