Practice Survey

The main goal of the first PPG meeting was to devise a Practice Survey. It is important for us to listen to the views of our Patients and to endeavour, where possible, to implement changes accordingly. In order to agree which questions to include in the survey, the first meeting concentrated on priorotising the following subject areas:-

  • Contacting the Practice
  • Appointment availability
  • Waiting Room Experience
  • Quality of Clinical Care
  • Variety of Clinics
  • Admin and Management
  • Opening Times
  • Other categories

Once the order of importance was agreed, the Practice Manager used the results to devise a short survey. All of the above areas were included, and the 10th question asked for comments to be made which were not covered by the first 9 questions. It was agreed that Survey should be no more then 2 sides of A4 and that there would be an online version as well as a paper version.

An announcement was inserted on the Practice website with a link to the survey and paper versions were handed to patients as they came to the Practice. The results were collated ready for the second PPG meeting.
