Practice Nurse
The practice nurse sees patients for routine nursing procedures: dressings, ear syringing etc, as well as performing cervical smears and blood tests. She offers expert advice on immunisations for foreign travel (attend at least six weeks before departure). The practice nurse runs the asthma and the healthy heart clinics together with other health promotion activities.
